Fall, Sin & Judgement : Part 2 – Romans 1

7-10 February

Downward Spiral of sin

  • This chapter deals with the effect of the original sin on all people.
  • This book, particularly Rom 3:23, exclaims that ‘all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God’ That no one is righteous.
  • Just as with Adam, redemption came through an animal (lamb), so too, the Book of Romans is saying death came to Jesus, the Lamb for our sakes.
  • We could not save ourselves. We needed a Saviour.

Something to think about, then take some time to reflect on your answers

▪️How are we saved? How would I explain this to someone who may ask this question.

Oh, how we ought to praise Him for bringing this great salvation to us!

We are saved by the grace of God. We are saved by doing good. Its the person that you become that wont allow you to hurt other people. But sometimes you cannot change people they have to make their own decisions. When we want to do wrong we are always reminded that its wrong or right. Our inner instinct, subconscious is what reminds us if it is not going to work. Sometimes it’s difficult to make decisions and not hurt people.
But God always direct us but we choose to not listen.
